Set up an on-site ServSafe® Class

ServSafe® On-Site Classes

Conscious of the hectic and demanding schedules of our food service industry, we offer on-site and private ServSafe® classes -- in English or Spanish -- in the comfort of your own establishment or preferred location. This option grants you the advantage of learning in your regular work environment and offers you the opportunity to get a hands on approach. The class can be for the ServSafe® Food Protection Manager course or for the ServSafe® Foodhandler course. Please contact us to discuss possible dates, details, and pricing.

What is the ServSafe® Food Protection Manager course?

According to the National Restaurant Association, the ServSafe® Food Protection Manager course "blends the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research and years of food sanitation training experience. Managers learn to implement essential food safety practices and create a culture of food safety."

What is the ServSafe® Foodhandler course?

The ServSafe® Foodhandler course is a food safety training designed for non-managerial restaurant or food service establishment staff. It covers a portion of the Manager's training as it pertains to obtaining the knowledge required to ensure safe food handling.

What does the Manager's class consist of?

It's a one day process! We send our complimentary food safety study guides -- available in English and Spanish -- prior to class so the students can study before the scheduled date. Our class consists of an instruction with lectures, videos and activities, followed by the test session. The ServSafe® Food Protection Manager test consists of 90 multiple choice questions. Since the test is taken online after the instruction, the students will have immediate access to their eCertificates – valid for five (5) years – if they pass with a score of 75 percent or more.

What does the Foodhandler's class consist of?

It's a one day process too! We send our complimentary food safety study guides -- available in English and Spanish -- prior to class so the students can study before the scheduled date. The two (2) hour class includes an instruction with lectures, videos and activities that covers less material than the Manager's class. Students take a 40-question test after the training that is not graded, but based on completion. Certificates -- valid for two (2) years -- are awarded after the completion of the training and the assessment.
